The Pride is one of the largest breweries in New Zealand and is home to some of New Zealand's most beloved beverage brands.
The Role
Ensure that all purchased finished products entering the Lion NZ Supply Chain meet Lion’s quality standards by the development and / or application of the relevant quality standards, systems and processes -
- Make safety a priority and champion a safety culture within logistics
- Support the management of relationships with 3PL’s and FG rework resources
- Complete daily releases of reworked product
- Quality oversight of devanning and returns with 3PL
- Led complaints investigations for purchased goods
- Internal and external audit coordination (i.e. GMP & hygiene, systems)
- Lead and support quality improvement initiatives – identify and implement process improvements for goods being handled within NZ SC
- Reporting of results and liaisons with customers and brand owners for imported goods (excluding those manufactured at The Pride)
- Support quality investigations for goods imported from Lion sites outside of NZ (ZTRA)
- Manage critical stock age extension requests for imported goods
- Management and auditing of the control of non-conforming product in our warehouses
- SEQIS document management SME for logistics
- Quality systems governance for logistics. Including quality incidents & near misses, CAPAs and RCA.
- PAWS audits and reporting for imported goods
- Active member of Lion Quality community. Including participation in relevant quality forums
- Live and advocate a GMP and quality culture
- Proactive involvement in the supply chain operating system
- Drive opportunities to reduce warehouse losses related to quality
About You
- Technical understanding of Logistics and supply chain to enable effective communications with Customers and Lion teams
- Quality management systems experience
- Analytical data skills to identify improvements
- Proficient in use of MS Office tools
- Project management to realise improvements
- Stakeholder Management
- Tertiary qualifications in appropriate technical discipline e.g. Science or Supply Chain
- Regulatory and legal compliance knowledge and understanding of implications to the business
- Beverage industry experience or related field
- Experience in related role
- Cross functional experience, inclusive of strong supply chain Logistics understanding
- Project management
- Working with lean principles (MEX)
- Internal auditing
- Assisting with 3rd party audits
