About VIDA ROADS

VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads. We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.

The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.

North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

1. Provide assistance and technical support in the review of project briefs, guidelines specifications and contract documentation, with guidance and assistance from the Project Manager.

2. Under direction, manage contractors, provide expert technical advice and provide summaries and reports to senior members of the team.

3.Assist Project Managers in carrying out engineering activities such as project scoping of works, performing estimates and similar technical activities.

4. Under direction, conduct quality assurance surveillance activities, documenting any irregularities and work towards resolution of any identified issues.

5. Assist in the development of design solutions and coordination with design consultants, as required.

The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting aspects of project activities, which may include project design and development, procurement, delivery and commissioning, within the designated specific scope, time and budge

This is a 3-year maximum fixed term opportunity.
