​​​VPS 5 Senior Advisor, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement​​

• Hybrid working environment. 

• 12 months maximum term, VPS 5 $116,413- $140,489 + super & benefits. 

• This role will be located at Geelong with frequent travel to Werribee.

Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

• Develop and lead community and stakeholder engagement programs to seek feedback on VIDA Roads’ projects in the planning phase, to help inform the development of the project(s) and decision-making.

• Draft a diverse range of communication materials to highlight projects in planning and support community and stakeholder engagement programs including letters, web content, emails to key stakeholders and advertising materials.

• Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, stakeholder groups, local councils and the community.

• Prepare and oversee responses to project related correspondence.

• Provide stakeholder management services to project teams, including issues management, stakeholder relations, advertising, events, web content and publications.

This role assists the communications and engagement activities across a portfolio of projects within VIDA Roads by providing support and strategic advice on communication and engagement activities. This role liaises with multiple internal and external stakeholders in an issues-rich and complex environment and works within project teams and other teams/disciplines across the organisation.

This opportunity is a 12 month Maximum Term role.
