We believe that inclusion means more than acceptance – it means belonging. We seek to provide a workplace where colleagues feel valued and are embraced for their differences, uniqueness, and individuality.

Women’s Resource Groups

Women’s networks play a pivotal role in accelerating the path to leadership and expanding access to flexible schedules and family benefits at every level.

Women and Allies at Marsh

The 'Women & Allies at Marsh' (WAM) Colleague Resource Group has set on a mission to advance women's careers at Marsh by creating a more equitable inclusive workplace, where gender is not a barrier to fulfilling careers or personal aspirations.

The group supports colleagues by celebrating and showcasing diverse talent, creating networking opportunities, driving practical training and partnering with not-for-profit organisations. This year, WAM ran an entire week of events globally around the International Women’s day theme ‘Choose to Challenge,’ where they celebrated the diversity within the organisation and partnered with industry experts to enhance internal capability. WAM is a proud supporter of the charity ‘Share the Dignity’.

Disability/Accessibility

Marsh is a proud member of the Australian Network on Disability (AND). Partnering with AND helps us to create an inclusive workforce and reflect the community in which we operate. You can learn more about AND here: https://www.and.org.au/

Culture at Marsh Australia

quote image
Throughout my career as a broker, I have worked for a number of different organisations, public & private, large & small, and when I joined Marsh in 2013, I still felt this was a male dominated industry. However, at only 33 years of age, was approached to become the State Executive for Marsh in the NT and more recently, Corporate Commercial Leader for Qld. From there, I have experienced Marsh’s commitment to Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) which is evident in opportunities that are available for all colleagues. I am the Chairperson for our Reconciliation Action Plan, and a committee member for our I&D and Mental Health @ Marsh Resource Groups. The organisation has made a commitment to shifting the conversation and importantly, supporting all our colleagues, clients and Communities.
Paula Eggers State Executive
