Transport Scheduler – Container Transport

North Fremantle Container Park | Full-time

MEDLOG is a global logistics and supply chain operator specialising in wharf cartage, container and warehouse storage, and handling. Building on decades of integrated logistics expertise, we continue to invest in our infrastructure, assets and people—while embracing the latest technology and digitalisation.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a dynamic, highly organised Transport Scheduler to join our team at our North Fremantle Container Park. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

About the role

This is a fast-paced, high-volume scheduling role supporting our container transport operations. You’ll be working closely with drivers and internal stakeholders to keep movements running smoothly and efficiently, while helping maximise fleet capacity.

Key responsibilities

  • Schedule fleet movements using VBS Booking systems and Containerchain to optimise utilisation

  • Communicate frequently with drivers and MEDLOG teams to coordinate daily operations

  • Plan and allocate driver jobs for FCL deliveries and MT collections

  • Ensure all movements and job information are accurately entered and readily available

  • Actively support and participate in MEDLOG’s Fleet Maintenance strategy

  • Work to deadlines and respond quickly to operational changes throughout the day

About you

You’re the type who thrives when things are busy and moving fast. You’re calm under pressure, sharp with priorities, and confident communicating with a wide range of people.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to reprioritise hourly/daily

  • Quick, strategic thinking and a solutions-focused mindset

  • Confidence working under pressure and to strict deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership

  • Sound knowledge of Main Roads Regulations

  • High-level computer skills and confidence learning new systems

Highly regarded (but not essential):

  • Experience with Containerchain, MT Data, and/or 1-Stop VBS

Why join MEDLOG?

  • Competitive salary

  • Strong safety culture

  • Supportive, down-to-earth team environment

  • Work with a growing global business with modern systems and processes

Apply now

If you’re looking for a challenging role in a progressive, growing business and can hit the ground running, we want to hear from you.
