MEDLOG WA is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, hands-on, eager to learn and looking to build a career in transport and logistics.
No extensive logistics experience is required. We will provide full on-the-job training and support, giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge across warehouse administration, customer service, transport coordination and day-to-day logistics operations.
The role offers a varied mix of office-based administration and hands-on operational support, so no two days are necessarily the same. As you develop your skills, you will also have opportunities to gain additional training, including a forklift licence, and become involved in DAFF, quarantine and biosecurity activities.

About the Role
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider operations team, you will provide administrative and practical support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse and logistics operations.
Your duties will include:
Supporting the day-to-day coordination of warehouse and logistics activities
Acting as a point of contact for clients and assisting with customer enquiries
Processing and coordinating third-party logistics loads
Maintaining accurate stock inventory, including stocktakes and investigating client discrepancies
Entering incoming stock into the system, including measuring, weighing and labelling stock
Scheduling container unpacks within the system
Preparing unpack paperwork for the warehouse team
Coordinating export activities, including planning, documentation and system processing
Capturing and entering relevant additional charges
Managing bookings and couriers for customer collections and deliveries
Assisting with the planning and coordination of daily tasks for warehouse and yard staff
Assisting with damage reporting, including downloading photographs, compiling information and communicating with clients
Assisting with DAFF and biosecurity activities, including administration and coordination of quarantine requirements
Providing general operational support to the warehouse and yard teams
Undertaking ad hoc hands-on warehouse and yard activities when required
Assisting with stock movements, checking, labelling and general warehouse tasks
Learning warehouse equipment and operational processes, with the opportunity to undertake forklift training and licensing as your skills develop
Supporting the Warehouse Manager and wider team with other operational duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and willing to get involved.
You may be starting your career, have some administration or customer service experience, or simply be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within the transport and logistics industry.

Previous transport, logistics or warehouse experience is highly regarded but is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
