Forklift / Warehouse Operators

MEDLOG is a global logistics and supply chain operator specialising in container transport, intermodal logistics, warehousing and freight handling.

We’re looking for three experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operators to join our Altona team. If you enjoy hands-on warehouse work, operate safely and take pride in getting the job done accurately, we’d like to hear from you.

About the role

You’ll support daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading, receivals, putaways, picking, despatch and stock movements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  

• Loading and unloading freight and moving stock throughout the warehouse
  

• Picking, packing, palletising and wrapping freight
  

• Completing receival and despatch paperwork
  

• Updating warehouse systems and stock movement records
  

• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory checks
  

• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
  

• Following site procedures and supporting the team with general warehouse duties

About you

• A current forklift licence and previous forklift operating experience
  

• Previous warehouse, logistics or freight-handling experience
  

• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  

• Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work
  

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
  

• Ability to perform the role’s manual handling tasks using safe work practices
  

• Experience with warehouse systems will be highly regarded
