Our Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. From discovery through to delivery plus Data and Insights, it’s made up of a broad and multi-disciplined group of specialists focused on designing products that help our customers optimise their business potential and creating best-in-class customer and user experiences.
About the role
Your responsibility as an expert in service and product design is to develop effective and well-designed solutions that meet the needs of our clients and internal teams. You'll work in a lean, agile, and collaborative environment, actively participating in every step of the design process, from project discovery to delivery. Your ultimate objective is to create outstanding end-to-end experiences.
You will be in charge of service design for a range of initiatives. This includes launching a new product to market, working on financial services products, achieving delivery-focused results, and collaborating with a highly productive team.
- Be a phenomenal teammate in the MYOB Design team to ensure the delivery of excellent experiences and results.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams as a representative for Design, recommending standard methodology to ensure complete and consistent design solutions.
- Own the design process for your domain and across teams.
- Develop and communicate a complete view of the problem space and its ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal staff and collaborators to co-design impactful customer experiences and efficient business processes.
- Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into all design activities.
- Use research to learn and understand somebody else’s world to craft experiences that meet their needs.
- Communicate and get consensus for your ideas with developers and managers in the relevant fields and confidently improve the collaboration between these teams.
