About the role:
As a Senior Change Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering change programs within Operations with a focus on Fixed and Mobile Customer Service. You will report to the Delivery & Continuous Improvement Manager (Service) within the ‘Group Consumer’ business of Optus Singtel.
You will work with project sponsors and business owners to combine different initiatives into a coherent launch and embedding strategy in support of the channel release process. And you will represent the interests of the Business Unit in the wider Optus Change Management community and ensuring Change practice is aligned to company direction
Please note: This is a 12 month Fixed term opportunity and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide
Responsibilities
- End-to-end Change management including strategy, planning, and implementation.
- Implementation planning, managing and delivering facets of change to people impacted by the change and project outcomes including business process, training and communications.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and management so that change is aligned against the project vision.
- Planning of training to ensure impacted resources adopt core migration changes and the change is embedded within BAU processes.
- Reporting status of change management and communication activities and assisting in identifying, reporting and escalating key change issues and risks within the project.
Experience Required
- 5+ years experience in significant project and/or change-related roles in large enterprise settings and dealing with complex change.
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies such as Prosci certification etc
- Highly developed communications skills
- Proven ability in developing, implementing, and measuring change management strategies and plans.
- Ability to influence decisions and manage expectations at the senior management level
- Collaborative style with the ability to organize and facilitate cross-functional teams.
- Self-directing and flexibility to adjust to changes in priorities and business directions.
- Highly developed presentation skills including experience presenting to both large and senior audiences
