As a Gateway Systems Engineer, you will work with technologies including Linux, Windows, macOS, mobile platforms and virtualisation environments. You will integrate monitoring and security tools (e.g Splunk, Nagios, Checkmk), provide troubleshooting guidance and contribute to automation and system documentation for internal and customer consumption.

This role includes mandatory participation in an on-call roster, compensated according to PentenAmio policies and guidelines.
Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Linux and optionally Windows systems administration
- Exposure to logging and monitoring tools (e.g Splunk, Nagios, Checkmk)
- Understanding of classified/isolated systems and the Australian ISM is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
- Knowledge of Ansible, networking, MDMs, programming/scripting, PKI, containerisation and/or VOIP systems would be advantageous
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position you must be:
- Be an Australian Citizen; and
- Hold a Negative Vetting 2 clearance or higher (or have the ability to obtain one)
