To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Raw Materials Manager to join our Supply Chain team.

This role will lead the supply management of raw and packaging materials for the Australian Snacks Business, and will lead 1 Direct Report.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Supply Management: Oversee the supply management of raw (non-bulk) and packaging materials for the Australian Snacks Business, ensuring finished goods service levels scross two manufacturing sites.

  • Forecasting and Availability: Manage weekly and monthly forecasting processes with suppliers, ensuring plant availability within agreed lead times, and minimising stock write-offs during product deletions and transitions.

  • Packaging and Print Management: Coordinate the planning, manufacturing, and development of flexible packaging, including managing supplier agreements and floor stocks to reduce deletion risks.

  • Implementation and Change Management: Lead material change management for new product development (NPD) and value engineering exercises, negotiating timings and prioritising changes with stakeholders.

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and other departments to manage packaging creation and changes, perform MRP Material Master Data management, and support procurement protocols and safety stock holdings across all sites.


Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Degree qualified with at least 5 years of experience in an analytical and material supply role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong numeracy and analytical abilities.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

  • Contract Knowledge: Sound knowledge of direct material supply contracts and terms.
