We are seeking a Production Frontline Manager (Grains) to lead operations on our Afternoon Shift (02:30pm–10:30pm/ Weekdays). This role balances floor-based leadership and administrative duties, driving operational performance while promoting strong team engagement, clear communication and efficient day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop frontline teams to build a high-performance, collaborative and accountable culture
- Drive team engagement through regular huddles, recognition, feedback and development planning
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership to proactively resolve issues and deliver AOP targets across safety, quality, cost, service, labour and environmental performance
- Champion a strong safety and wellbeing culture, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting and disciplined operational execution
- Optimise labour and resources through effective workforce planning, performance monitoring, cost control and inventory accuracy
- Use data and continuous improvement methodologies to identify opportunities, drive sustainable improvements and maintain alignment across shifts
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment
Proven track record of managing and developing production teams
Qualification in Engineering or Food Science (Preferred)
Background in the FMCG sector highly regarded
Practical experience with SAP software
High level of competency in Microsoft Excel
Strong working knowledge of AIB, HACCP, GMP and ISO standards
