We have a permanent opportunity for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team in Wiri. This role involves working independently to handle picking, putaways, damaged goods removal, and receipting finished goods. With a focus on Continuous Improvement, you'll help improve processes to keep the warehouse running efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities
- Health & Safety: Support Target Zero through "Safety Always, Accident Never" and daily TALK meetings; report all accidents and near misses.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist Shift Managers in establishing cross-functional teams to integrate and standardize operations across shifts.
- Quality Assurance: Support QA initiatives, including housekeeping audits, food safety training, batch management, and pest control, while reinforcing a quality-conscious culture.
- Operational Efficiency: Coordinate with Inventory Control to minimize errors (short/over deliveries, picker errors, damages, stock accuracy, etc.) and support despatch and storage operations.
- Stock & Inventory Management: Ensure bin accuracy, receipts, stock adjustments in SAP, and proper handling of import/export containers.
- Customer Service: Quickly resolve store issues, maintain material integrity, and support procedures that enhance retail, commercial, and vending operations.
- Error Reduction: Implement robust processes to minimize order pick errors and reduce credit requests through better accuracy and procedural adherence.

- Analytical Skills: Problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical abilities.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy with intermediate Excel skills.
