Our Locations

Rheinmetall Defence Australia operates across key locations in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne and Wellington in New Zealand. Our headquarters is based at the cutting-edge Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank, Queensland.

The MILVEHCOE facility is a state-of-the-art hub featuring an operational manufacturing production hall, warehouse, test track, weapons and munitions firing tunnel, EMC chamber, electronic engineering and administration buildings, as well as a fully serviced cafeteria and training auditorium. This unique site supports sovereign military vehicle capability, enabling the design, development and local manufacture of military vehicles, platforms and turrets for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and for export to allied nations.

All of our offices are easily accessible by public transport, with free on-site parking available at MILVEHCOE, Adelaide and our New Zealand locations.

Our Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process begins with an online application. Once submitted, you can expect to complete a couple of interviews, starting with a video screening interview as the first step in the selection process. This video screening will give you the change to learn more about the role you've applied for, and about us as your potential employer.

Following this, you'll have a formal interview with our hiring leaders, which may be conducted face-to-face or via a virtual platform like WebEx. Depending on the role, particularly for trade-specific positions, you may also be required to complete practical assessments. But, don't worry - these are designed to be interactive and engaging.

Once interviews and assessments are finished, we conduct background and professional reference checks. If successful, you'll receive a verbal offer, followed by a formal employment agreement, confirmation of your start date, and a warm on-boarding experience.

Throughout the process, a dedicated Rheinmetall Talent Acquisition professional will guide you, ensuring you feel supported and informed every step of the way.
