Riverina Water County Council provides safe, high-quality drinking water to over 77,000 people across a 15,000 km² service area in southern NSW. We support households, businesses and communities in Wagga Wagga, Lockhart Shire, and parts of Greater Hume and Federation councils, delivering essential water services to both rural townships and urban centres.
We manage more than 35,000 service connections, operate a network of treatment plants, reservoirs and pipelines, and play a critical role in supporting public health, economic development, and regional resilience. Our operations are grounded in a strong focus on asset management, water quality, digital transformation, and community engagement.
Riverina Water is a regional local government entity, governed by elected councillors and working closely with member councils and utility partners to meet the evolving needs of our growing region.
