Position Summary
In this position, you will:
* Coordinate and support a wide variety of global experience programs emphasizing on short programs (not limited to study tours and summer/winter programs) and ensuring high quality and relevant programming are readily accessible to all students in RMIT and its global entities
* Collaborate with colleagues within the Global Experience Office and across the University in achieving global student experience outcomes
* Play a pivotal role in connecting, engaging and assisting RMIT students interested in pursuing the global experience programs through pro-active, up-to-date and continuous deliver of excellent customer service
Roles and Responsibilities
* Coordinate a variety of global experience programs and build and develop the relationship between RMIT and across partner institutions and organisations
* Contribute to the development of RMITs global experience strategy and action plan, and the achievement of goals and targets Communicate and correspond with portfolio of partners on all matters relating to student participation such as applications, exchange balances, promotional activities and ongoing relationship matters
* Ensure efficient and up-to-date coordination of marketing and promotion of relevant global experience opportunities to student across wider RMITs global network
* Establish, promote and deliver excellent customer service and developmental advice regarding global experience programs opportunities to students that follows the Universitys service standards using innovative and advanced, cutting-edge technologies
* Facilitate and guide the progress of the global experience funding and project submissions, internal and external in achieving the group, portfolio and University ambitious objectives in improving student experience
* Promote and provide in-depth knowledge on how to further enhance the global experience programs to all students at various levels
Skills and Experience Required
* Degree qualified in related discipline with commensurate working experience
* Experience studying or working overseas and/or fluency in foreign language will be an added advantage
* Excellent customer servicing skills and the ability to communicate and apprehend audience from various cultural backgrounds
* Possess strong strategic marketing & communications skills and experience, and proven ability in planning and implementing timely student experience outcomes
* Competency and strong understanding as well as experience to develop and deliver transformative student programming in the Higher Education sector
* Ability to think creatively, analyse and identify complex situation and the commitment to put responses into context and manage outcomes of the program and performance adhering to established policies
* Passion and ability to build strong relationships and partnerships across all levels of professional, both internal and externally, and equip with strong verbal communications and written capability
