About the role:


The Master Data Specialist – provides Australian master data expertise for operations, procurement and supply chain transformation including automation and selected ERP transition activity. The role also supports global master data ticket resolution and cross-regional Screening Solutions projects, ensuring data is accurate, governed, fit for purpose and ready to support business change.


Specifically:


  • Lead and support master data initiatives that enable business transformation, ERP projects, and operational improvements across Australia.

  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, procurement, supply chain, and business functions to deliver data-driven process improvements and system enhancements.

  • Drive data quality, governance, and compliance by ensuring accurate, reliable, and well-managed master data across business systems.

  • Support business change through stakeholder engagement, training, coaching, and adoption of data management best practices.

  • Contribute to local and global projects by providing expertise in data management, continuous improvement, reporting, testing, and process optimisation.


A little about you:


While we offer training and development, we are looking for someone with the following skills to ensure you are set up for success:


  • Demonstrated experience in Master Data Management within manufacturing, mining or heavy industry, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience supporting transformation, automation, ERP or major system change initiatives, including cleansing, mapping, validation, testing and post-implementation support.

  • Strong SAP ERP or similar ERP experience, SAP MDG, equipment hierarchy, BOM, technical documentation and ticket workflow knowledge; Teamcenter PLM and Infor M3 experience desirable.

  • Advanced Excel and reporting or analytics capability, with the ability to work across local and global stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong data quality, process improvement, stakeholder engagement and practical delivery skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel within Australia and occasionally internationally as required.
