What you’ll do:
Based in our Brisbane office, the Senior Process Engineer will provide specialist process engineering support, technical assurance and discipline governance across Midstream & Energy Solutions assets and projects. Reporting to the Team Leader Discipline Engineering, the role ensures safe, reliable and compliant engineering outcomes throughout the asset lifecycle.
Key accountabilities include:
- Perform technical assessments, reviews and assurance of engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with Santos, regulatory and industry requirements
- Collaborate with process optimisation, operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate equipment vulnerabilities, reliability risks and obsolescence challenges
- Review and assure contractor and vendor engineering deliverables against legislative, corporate and industry standards
- Support investigations into discipline-related incidents, failures and performance issues, providing technical analysis and recommendations
- Fulfil the role of Change Advisor within the Management of Change process and provide technical guidance on proposed changes
- Ensure process safety, asset integrity and personnel safety considerations are embedded throughout project development, design and execution
