The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the Category Manager, this role will see you accountable for optimising product range, overall sales (both scan & shipped) and profitability through supplier collaboration, forecasting on NPD & promotions, cross-functional teamwork and KPI delivery.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide relevant data through Power BI and other tools to enable more informed decision making
- Utilise the data to drive recommendations and strategies within the category
- Collation of Category strategies, and relevant information from Category Assistants in readiness to be communicated to internal and external stakeholders
- Build strong long-term supplier business relationships with mutual beneficial outcomes
- Support Private label and Exclusive profit opportunities achieving contribution targets & penetration
We are looking for:
- Understanding and experience of working the dynamics of a Franchise & wholesale environment
- Demonstrated experience in Excel, Power BI or similar platforms
- Proven experience in an aligned role where data was key
- Demonstrated ability to identify target audiences and devise campaigns & ranging that engage, inform and motivate.
- Experience in inventory management & forecasting
