The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this role with work with Sigma IT Team to support and deliver a network that is secure, highly available and that meets next generation requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain Sigma’s enterprise network
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve network issues to ensure optimal network uptime and performance
- Act as a trusted advisor in the effective use of Network Technologies to achieve business outcomes
- Troubleshoot problems with Network Infrastructure and make corrective actions when necessary
- Configuration of firewalls, access control lists and virtual private network tunnels in line with IT security policy
We are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (desirable).
- Current CCNP or relevant experience
- Cisco technologies; SDWAN (Meraki MX & MR), SD-Access, Data Centre Switching, DNA, WAN, LAN, Voice
- In depth understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN/routing/switching)
- In-depth expertise in communications infrastructure (Cisco routing and switching including Cisco ISE, FTD Firewalls or equivalent)
