The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the Group Accounting and Reporting Manager this role will see you being a key contributor to the month-end close process through responsibilities such as managing the GL, preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and consolidating the results of subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the month-end close and consolidation processes through journal posting, analysis, balance-sheet reconciliation preparation and review, and drafting the monthly report pack
- Key contact for the external audit process, liaising with external auditors and coordinating internal resources and requests
- Contributing to the preparation of the consolidated half-year and annual reports for release to the ASX
- Preparing position papers and reports for Risk Management and Audit Committee on various technical accounting matters
- Ad-hoc analysis and project work
We are looking for:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance; and CA / CPA qualified
- Extensive post qualification experience in a similar role required
- Solid financial accounting skills
- Prior exposure to large ERP systems and business intelligence tools
- Experience with financial reporting and controls in an ASX listed environment
