The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the Product Manager – Analytics, the Business Intelligence Analyst is a key role to enable our vision by partnering with key stakeholders across the enterprise, to generate insights, build reporting solutions and assist Data Engineering and Data Science functions in building new Data Products.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for identifying, developing, and embedding data and insights capabilities across the business functions
- Requiring a hands-on approach to understand processes, business challenges, and partner with stakeholders on strategy and design solutions through use of data.
- Raise Data literacy across Sigma ensuring our data assets are leveraged and impact on business decision-making
- Subject Matter Expert for BI Products and capabilities supporting all business units
- Assist the delivery squad (i.e. workstream) and be integral part of driving the completion of funded initiatives from discovery to delivery.
We are looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Data, Analytics, or other related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP, EWM, SQL, Excel, Power BI or similar analytics software.
- Proven skill to turn complex business data (financial and non-financial) into information, reports and recommendations that support decision making
- Understanding of Analytics enablement and traditional Data Warehouse and Reporting capabilities to assist stakeholders in undertaking the right solutions
- Ability to understand and analyse complex processes, identify risks and efficiencies, to recommend better business outcome
