The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the Digital Marketing & eCommerce Lead, The Social Media Specialist will support and implement the social content strategy across Sigma brands, overseeing the delivery of our digital and social content, management of social channels and helping grow the audience base.
A data driven, commercially savvy social marketing professional, you will work within the digital marketing and CRM team, reporting into the Digital Marketing & CRM Manager.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Be part of the digital content working group to develop the strategy and roadmap for social channel marketing (paid and organic)
- Build and maintain our presence across facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Use your social media skills to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and develop incredible product, health services, promotional and category content across the relevant social channels for the retail brands.
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and reviews across social media channels.
- Drive cross-team collaboration and a test-and-learn approach to deliver increased engagement, audience growth and efficient ROAS on all activity.
We are looking for:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, content or retail or pharmacy experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or proven experience in social media management and content creation
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
- Creative flair and attention to detail with the ability to think outside the box.
