The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting into the Production Support Manager, the Service Technician is responsible for on time delivery of services, issue resolution, maintenance and overall improvement of machine performance onsite and for external stake holders consistently. Supporting and undertaking also the general cleaning and maintenance of equipment’s.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure workplace health and safety policies and procedures are always adhered to
- Proactively identify and manage workplace hazards.
- Perform installation, maintenance, service and repair in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure all the tickets assigned are actioned and tracked in a timely manner.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance as per schedules.
- Participate in incident investigations, risk assessments and other health and safety related activities, as requested.
We are looking for:
- Ideally your will have come from a photocopier, printing appliance technical background.
- Tertiary technical qualification with electronics or mechanical background
- Sound logical and analytical ability.
- Problem analysis and problem solving and logical thinking.
- Strong technical / problem solving abilities.
