The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? The Stock Controller will provide support and guidance to designated work groups and teams and ensure stock is available, accurate and in line with the system stock at hand.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day maintenance of the inventory stock on hand
- Ensure stock is available, accurate and in line with the system stock on hand
- Maintain record keeping system accurately and in the agreed timelines, optimising the availability of stock for customer orders
- Liaise with the other departments, suppliers and customers in relation to deliveries, queries, credits, quarantine etc.
- Ensure all damaged, missing and short dated stock is processed correctly.
- Assist in the management supervision of each cyclic stock take to ensure completion.
- Record all stock adjustments relating to each stock take.
- Ensure occupational health and safety practices are adhered to
We are looking for:
- Must have proven and demonstrated skills in a similar role
- Able to understand and provide direction guidance and leadership to designated work groups and teams on detailed instructions and work procedures.
- Able to co-ordinate and take full ownership of the required work tasks within the wider team and site leadership team.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Licensed to operate materials handling equipment (MHE refers to counter balance & reach fork trucks (LF), stock pickers (LO) etc.)
- Advanced Computer systems and technological skills
