About Us

Sigma Healthcare is powering pharmacy! We have the largest pharmacy network in Australia with trusted brands including Chemist Warehouse, Amcal, Discount Drug Stores and Ultra Beauty! We are powered by our dedicated people and our leading Australian full line pharmacy wholesale and distribution business that delivers medicines to any pharmacy anywhere in Australia. With Chemist Warehouse now operating in four countries outside Australia, we continue to expand our reach.

At Sigma Healthcare, we celebrate diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. If you have the right to live and work in Australia and are open to working in our Preston office, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

The Marketing Specialist plays a key part in bringing Sigma’s B2B marketing strategy to life across our retail brands. You will lead the planning and delivery of end-to-end marketing campaigns, marketing and media initiatives, while supporting category marketing plans and supplier partner activity.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on coordination and delivery. You’ll manage multiple projects at once, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all marketing initiatives are executed seamlessly, on time and to a high standard.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the Content Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing strategies and plans across promotional campaigns, category marketing, supplier partners, media and broader marketing initiatives for the Amcal and DDS brands.
  • Coordinate and deliver end-to-end B2B marketing communications, including the development and distribution of marketing communications packs.
  • Manage integrated marketing campaigns from briefing through to execution across catalogue, point of sale, TV, radio, PR, social media, email and digital channels, working closely with agency partners.
  • Own campaign critical paths, timelines and workflows to ensure all activity is delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for agency and supplier partners, coordinating marketing deliverables and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Manage stakeholder coordination including WIPs, agendas, approvals and sign-offs across merchandise, marketing, legal, ASMI, media, printers and supplier partners.
  • Support the presentation of campaign concepts and outputs to stakeholders, ensuring all activity aligns to briefs, brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Maintain marketing master files, distribution lists, brand presenters and branded brochures, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all materials.
  • Assist with marketing reporting, budgets and administration, including campaign performance reporting, quote approvals, budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, recoveries, and support for market research and brand tracking initiatives.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, with 3–4+ years’ experience in a similar role (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality creative and media briefs.
  • Highly organised with exceptional project and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with media, production and agency partners.
  • Creative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience in retail, franchise and/or healthcare environments, with an interest in pharmacy or healthcare (TGA knowledge desirable).
