About the opportunity
The Principal Project Officer, Gender Equality, will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of gender equality initiatives within SRLA. This role is responsible for project managing the Gender Equality Action Plan 2022-2025, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements to the Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector. Additionally, the Principal Project Officer will build capability across SRLA to ensure that Gender Impact Assessments (GIAs) are conducted for all policies, programs, and services with direct or significant impact on the public. This newly created role is instrumental in elevating SRLA’s gender equality initiatives and is intended to help create a more gender-inclusive organisation.
