About the opportunity
The Adviser, Cabinet and Ministerial Services (CAMS) will be responsible for providing effective quality assurance, advice and administration in a range of areas including coordination of new governance requirements across our planning and delivery programs and related secretariat support. This includes agenda setting, preparation of detailed papers, maintaining accurate minutes, actions and records of meetings.
You will have experience in administrative and secretariat roles and a demonstrable record in the timely coordination of governance committees and related meeting documentation and activities. You will be comfortable and experienced working in an environment with competing and changing priorities and will possess flexibility and resilience.
In this role, you will need to work with a range of stakeholders across Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) and government, including the chairs and members of each Steering Committee to ensure risks, actions and issues are identified and resolved. The Adviser will provide other assistance across CAMS as required, particularly quality assurance of materials.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate initiative, an ability to take appropriate action for urgent and often sensitive matters and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. For further information please refer to the position description.
