An exciting opportunity has become available or arisen for a Systems Training Specialist to join the People & Governance – Business Connect team within Sydney Water.
The Systems Training Specialist is responsible for the delivery of high-quality systems and process training, contributing to the maintenance of training material, and providing day-to-day support for business users of SAP.
Key to this role is your ability to work with internal stakeholders to design and deliver training modules for the different components of the SAP finance, procurement, supply chain and EPPM solution. Reporting to the Manager Systems Improvement and Support, this position will be accountable for delivery of SAP end-user training and capability development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training modules for the different components of the SAP finance, procurement, supply chain and EPPM solution.
- Align learning and development strategies to business needs.
- Deliver SAP end-user training and capability development.
- Collaborate with team members to effectively provide quality day-to-day, end-user support.
- Review training material and ensure it meets the learning requirement.
- Update, and arrange updates to, the training material to ensure currency and effectiveness.
- Develop and review knowledge articles.
- Undertake learning needs analysis and assessment of capability requirements.
- Maintain accurate training records in Compass for trainees.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV Assessment and Workplace Training or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge in SAP Training in some or all of the following process areas: finance, procurement, supply change and enterprise portfolio and program management.
- 2+ years’ experience delivering SAP or other ERP systems training.
- Experience delivering both face-to-face and virtual training and support.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, influencing, liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills including an ability to engage with people at all levels in the organisation.
- Highly developed training and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners effectively.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills including high level presentation and writing skills
