Sydney Water are seeking a dynamic and experienced Performance and Engagement Lead to oversee our employee performance cycle, known as Contribution and Development Plans (CDPs), and to lead our engagement surveys and related projects. This pivotal role will support leaders and employees through these processes, ensuring alignment with our company goals, vision, and desired culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire people performance review cycle, including project managing goal setting, check in conversations and end of cycle reviews. Leads communication strategies, liaises on system enhancements and educates leaders and employees on best practices.
- Collaborate with the systems team on upgrades and improvements to performance management tools.
- Work closely with the strategy team to ensure employee goals are aligned with the company's vision.
- Design and lead engagement surveys, working with stakeholders to create meaningful questions, drive participation, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Promote understanding of performance frameworks, systems, and expectations among leaders and employees.
- Partner with teams within and outside of People and Culture to foster a culture of continuous improvement and engagement in our programs.
Experience and Qualifications
- Required Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Desirable certification in coaching, engagement surveys, presentation skills or related areas
- Proven experience in project management and a keen interest in enhancing employee performance and engagement.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in systems management, with a focus on optimising performance tools.
- Passionate about developing others and fostering a collaborative work environment.
