About us

Alongside our customers, we’re on a journey towards a more sustainable energy future. This means developing new renewable energy generation and storage solutions to replace our coal-fired power stations, which are planned for retirement by 2030.

Throughout this transition, we’re committed to helping our customers better manage their energy usage and contain their costs, without compromising the provision of reliable energy.

Our journey to a more sustainable future

The energy sector is in the midst of a once in a generation transformation. As we continue to innovate and adapt our operations to ensure the safe and reliable supply of electricity, we’re investing in our people and our systems. Most importantly, we’re working with our customers to ensure we’re meeting their current and emerging needs, without leaving anyone behind.

Our purpose

Leading Western Australians to their intelligent energy future.

Our vision

To be the first choice for energy.

Our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace

As we journey towards a more sustainable future for Western Australians, it’s our people who enable our progress. We’re committed to creating an exceptional workplace at Synergy; one that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusion, and empowers our people to bring their best selves to work.

We’re proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by the Diversity Council of Australia and have been consistently recognised by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers for our graduate and intern programs.

Here’s what helps us make Synergy an exceptional place to work.

Our values

Our values are the unique qualities we look for in our people. They guide us in how we show up every day and how we work together to achieve our strategic ambitions. They’re the foundations of how we’re creating an exceptional workplace at Synergy.

Innovation

Innovation is a state of mind; a belief that there is always a better way to do things. We embrace change and shape our future. We are agile and insightful. We are leaders. We explore possibilities.

Accountability

Our world has never relied on energy more than it does today. We relentlessly step up to solve problems, we own the solutions, and we demonstrate this leadership behaviour consistently. We deliver for our community, our customers and each other.

Collaboration

We have shared goals. We seek and share ideas, and leverage off the knowledge and experience of each other. We keep each other honest, respect each other’s abilities, and we celebrate together when we achieve our goals. We are one team; one Synergy.

Trust

We have faith in each other. We are experts in our field. We’re trusted to make uncomfortable decisions to build a better business. We are brave and committed to each other.
