What will you do?
It is an exciting time to join our business and team here at Target! We have a great opportunity for an Online Trading Partner who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and loves to build relationships across a wider team.
The ideal person will be responsible for the eCommerce sales and margin performance of nominated categories within the Target Merchandise ranges. The Trade Partner will deliver their sales forecasts through (i) managing online product life cycle (ii) the creation of a sales potential pipeline (iii) building sales initiatives into the ecommerce trade plan & (iv) optimising inventory availability.
Other key responsibilities will include:
Building & managing a high growth sales & margin forecast across nominated categories:
- Forecasting Daily, weekly, monthly, annual sales performance
- Managing site profitability through category mix
Maintenance & delivery of the eCommerce Trade Plan for the nominated category:
- Build 12-week planning timeframe for sales initiatives
- Creation of and input into eDM programme
- New product / new range launches
- Input into Online promotions
- Playing a consult role on category content pages, marketing campaign activity, and department landing pages to optimize page performance and site conversion rate
Driving new sales opportunities for the online business:
- Using trends & insights to identify sales opportunities across existing and new categories and products and technologies.
- Focus on Online “Big Bets” to increase performance
Ensuring inventory availability is maximised:
- Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly monitoring and planning of inventory to deliver the sales opportunity (right place right time) with inventory planning team
- Working with web production teams and IT to respond to online availability
Build effective partnerships with Digital Content & Digital Product Development teams:
- to identify new sales opportunities
- to improve the overall customer and online experience
Online Management of Target Brand and 3rd Party brand ranges and product lifecycles:
What are we looking for?
You will have a passion for eCommerce and sales development with great general understanding of the digital landscape.
Qualifications, experience and knowledge:
- 3 Years + Digital Sales experience
- 3 Years + eCommerce knowledge (trading, fulfilment, web systems & platforms)
- 3 Years + Influencing and cross functional collaboration experience.
- Highly analytical and proficient skills in Excel
- Knowledge of Hybris an advantage
