About the role
Thiess has been awarded a 5 year contract to provide mining services at Mt Arthur Coal.
As our next Bench Hand reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor you will be highly motivated and work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
We are seeking suitably experienced Bench Hands to undertake Blast hole Loading activities with open cut experience and operating skills on Front end loaders and Heavy Rigid Vehicles.
You will be required to work on a permanent day shift 2 panel roster 3/2 2/3 that includes weekend work.
About you
In this role, you will:
- Hold a current Security Clearance
- Initiative and a flexible approach to work
- Good communication skills with the willingness to be part of a high performance team
- Commitment to the highest safety, community and environmental standards
- Experience in Blast Hole loading, Front end loaders and Heavy Rigid Trucks
- Ability to work to directions and be self motivated
