Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions.
We are responsible for strategy, planning, policy, regulation, funding allocation and other non-service delivery functions for all modes of transport in NSW including road, rail, ferry, light rail, point to point, regional air, cycling and walking.
We focus on improving the customer experience and contract public and private operators to deliver customer-focused transport services on our behalf.
We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

The Division
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
The Opportunity
Right now, we have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join us in the Network & Assets Branch. The Project Coordinator role will support the Regional Assets section of Network and Assets in the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex programs and projects to achieve long term asset management outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
Some of your key accountabilities will include:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of program and project planning, development, and implementation for a range of programs and projects
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met
- Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging program or project issues and to support development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other priorities

About you
The successful candidate will have demonstrated program or project management experience with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the experience and capability to engage with stakeholders within a complex large organisation.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, equivalent professional experience.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is RMS USS 8 ($102,098 – $109,561) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
