The Accommodation Support Officer assists international and domestic students studying at all University of Newcastle campuses in sourcing and securing safe and appropriate on or off campus accommodation.
This role provides high-quality customer service to current and future students, and engages with external providers involved in supporting the student accommodation journey.
Assisting with the organisation and implementation of social, cultural and events/activities that facilitate a living and learning community is also a part of this role.
This fixed term position is full time until Dec 2023 and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land), with some travel to other campuses as required.
You will inspire us with your exceptional interpersonal skills, desire to help people and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of international student requirements, such as visas, is advantageous.

About the Unit
Student Living is located within the Academic Division and is responsible for managing the University’s accommodation services.
What we offer
The remuneration for this position is from 65591 - $71298 p.a. +17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
