The Careers Service Team Leader provides high quality leadership and support to the Careers Service team who provide customer service and advice regarding effective job seeking, as well as referral of complex employability enquiries to Employability Consultants.

The role will coordinate the front-line student-centred, job seeking support service including the delivery of group workshops, online advice, and face-to-face service delivery. This role will work with the Career Service Team Leader at Callaghan campus to co-ordinate the delivery of the University’s Jobs On Campus program.

You will inspire us with your strong organisational skills, ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as your ability to exercise sound judgement using your industry knowledge and experience.

This Fixed Term position is part-time until the end of December 2023 at a HEW 6 Higher Education Level and be located at the Ourimbah Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

  1. Demonstrated experience coordinating the day-to-day functions of a customer/ client- support team
  2. Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
