Digital Technology Solutions delivers cutting-edge, innovative and cost- effective digital solutions and services to the University’s staff and students to enable the delivery of excellence in education and research & innovation; and to support engagement with communities and partners. DTS is repositioning to be a technology integrator, broker, trusted advisor and innovator, enabling the University to deliver the New Futures Strategic Plan
Be challenged and imagine with us
Reporting to the Associate Director, Delivery, the Portfolio Lead is responsible for reporting on the consolidated view of DTS delivery progress, review and analysis of DTS roadmap development, funding allocation, demand forecasting, resource allocation and maintaining key funding documentation. You will manage a team of Capability Support Officers that provide delivery support across all Capability Areas. The position is also responsible for driving continuous improvement, skills development and knowledge sharing across the Delivery Community of Practice.
Your responsibilities will include.
- Leading the consolidated reporting of Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) delivery progress, providing a comprehensive view across all Capability Areas.
- Analysing and reporting on DTS roadmap funding allocation, demand forecasting, and resource allocation, considering their impact on planning and budgeting.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to communicate delivery accountabilities, goals, and measurable business impact.
- Mitigate anticipated and actual barriers to DTS delivery goals.
- Managing a team of Capability Support Officers, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead change management efforts within the Delivery Community of Practice.
- Develop and implement procedures for efficient project planning, organization, and execution using relevant tools and systems.

This continuing position is full time and will be based at Callaghan Campus (Awabakal Land and Worimi land), with flexible working arrangements.

- Degree in a relevant discipline, with at least four years subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in a related technical or administrative field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training

- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions within your sphere of responsibility and take responsibility for delivering to plan and on time

- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous including highly developed skills in computer literacy, advanced user of MS project and MS Office toolset including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace obligations to, and experience in leading and cultivating workplace practices and behaviours that promote, support and maintain a safe, healthy, equitable, diverse and respectful workplace, including responding appropriately to adverse incidents, behaviours, issues, reports and the like
