We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Campaign Project Officer for Campaign Readiness to join our team as we embark on our University's inaugural comprehensive philanthropic and alumni engagement campaign. As a Campaign Project Officer for Campaign Readiness, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the readiness and success of this campaign by collaborating with various teams across the Office of Alumni and Philanthropy. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, enhance process efficiency, and make a significant impact on our institution's advancement strategy.
- Support the implementation of our University's Advancement Strategy for 2023-2027, with a focus on campaign readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in project and program implementation, ensuring alignment with our Advancement Strategy.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to build scale and enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the coordination and delivery of resource management, policy development, KPI setting, and reporting requirements.
- Support the Executive Director and Campaign team in coordinating advancement strategy development, resource management, policy implementation, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Office of Alumni and Philanthropy.
This Fixed Term position is full time at a HEW 5 Higher Education Level until December 2025 and will be based at Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land)

About the Unit
The Office of Alumni and Philanthropy (OAP) sits within the Global Engagement and Partnerships Division and leads the implementation of the University of Newcastle’s Advancement Strategy.
The practice of Advancement (alumni and philanthropic engagement) plays a key role in the delivery of Looking Ahead, the University of Newcastle Strategic Plan 2020-2025, and achieving its goals. The OAP comprises four teams:
1. Alumni Programs
2. Community Fundraising and Donor Relations
3. Philanthropy
4. Advancement Operations
