Role Summary...
As part of the Core Technology team, you will be involved in the support and evolution of the VizRT AR & VR platform at Warner Bros Discovery Sports studios in Stockley park, as well as at other WBD sports sites across Europe. This WBD Sports technical infrastructure is a full SMPTE 2110 infrastructure which give you the opportunity to work on the new broadcast technologies.
Key Responsibilities...
Support: the support engineer takes care of the needs of the 2 tech hubs and associated markets.
- Take charge of technical problems that level 1 maintenance cannot overcome
- Implement workarounds to ensure service continuity
- Take ownership of technical issues once incidents are resolved.
○ Research a definitive solution.
○ pre-prod testing
○ Implementation of the solution
○ documentation
- Regular review of tickets with suppliers
- Regular meetings with the markets on the current problems
- Verification / creation of maintenance procedures in collaboration with level 1 maintenance and engineering departments
Engineering:
- Participation in engineering tasks.
○ Implementation of new equipment / workflows in collaboration with the lead engineer
○ Modification of configurations related to special events or for any other need
- Definition or verification of user workflows vs technical configurations
- Creation / update / verification of technical documents

Other Details...
Position based in Stockley Park and Chiswick
Shift work from Monday to Sunday on extended hours. 40 hours / week
Flexible schedule according to events
Possible occasional works in Europe countries
