Assigned to projects in the role of IT Business Analyst for multiple programs across WorkCover Queensland’s, this role will gather, document and analyse varying stages of business requirements, translate them into functional specifications for approval by project sponsor/stakeholders, and ensure compliance with the agreed methodology.
You’ll contribute to:
- Assess existing business operations, analyse workflows and establish a base for developing improved processes and systems to create process and information models and identify areas of improvement and optimisation
- Produce functional specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms for approval by nominated members of a project team
- Support the development of test strategies, plans, scripts and assist in IT test plans, where applicable, in conjunction with project team members
A bit about you:
- 2+ years Business Analysis experience
- Experience in ITIL and Agile environments
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to take a holistic view across a range of domains
- Previous experience undertaking analysis, evaluation and translation of customer and enterprise requirements into detailed software requirements and supporting tasks
- Experience in process led change with a focus on CX and digital change.
