About the Role
As a Pricing and Compliance Analyst, you will provide data analysis and support for WorkCover’s internal and external compliance programs, offering technical and analytical support to various business areas. The role works collaboratively within a close-knit team, supporting and sharing knowledge, together delivering WorkCover’s annual premium pricing and assisting with other pricing-related matters. You will be mentored and supported by the team to further develop and grow your skills in business and data analytics. In this role, you’ll contribute to:
- Supporting and providing technical and analytical advice
- Designing, delivering, enhancing, and maintaining visualisations and analytical tools for monitoring the business and sourcing insights and improvements to claims and premium outcomes.
- Extracting, formatting, and compiling data to support compliance initiatives and activities.
- Working with the business to solve problems, present business information, and communicate results and methodologies.
- Driving continuous development and improvement of data structure and design.
A Bit About You:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in analysis, providing technical and analytical advice, and presenting business information.
- Knowledge and understanding of worker’s compensation or similar insurance industry experience.
- Strong foundational skills in data analysis, numeracy, and attention to detail.
- Hold a natural curiosity, with a growth mindset to learn new skills and tools.
- Prior working knowledge of R, SAS Programming, QlikView/Sense, Tableau is highly advantageous but not essential.
