Zenith Energy is seeking individuals who want to be part of the future energy industry. The position is a permanent, full-time role based at our Head Office in Rivervale.
The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the entire procurement process, including creating award recommendations, securing commitments, expediting orders, receiving goods, processing invoices, and ensuring timely delivery. This role aligns purchases with business objectives while fostering strong relationships with vendors and clients to maximise value.
What You will Do
Key responsibilities include:
- Create recommendations for awards and process purchase orders and invoices, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the team and contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement in all processes
- Coordinate with Project delivery personnel on their requirements.
- Support Project Scheduling, Estimating and Cost Control tasks as requested from time to time by the Procurement Services Manager or on request from the Project Delivery team.
- Deliver customer service that offers prompt, timely, and effective support and advice to all staff regarding procurement.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure the on-time delivery of goods and services while identifying potential areas of risk.
- Offer additional support as needed.
What We Need from You
Experience & Skills
Possess over two (2) years of relevant experience in a procurement-focused role, demonstrating a strong understanding of purchasing processes and supplier management.
Exhibit strong administrative skills, a methodical approach to tasks,
Three (3) years of hands-on experience in an administrative position within the construction or mining sectors, specifically within the resource industry with Pronto software is highly advantageous and would enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Having a Certificate IV in Procurement or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field would be advantageous.
