About the Role
Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for executing planned electrical maintenance tasks, breakdown repairs, and unscheduled equipment maintenance within Zenith Power Stations.
You will assist in the day-to-day operations and improvements to our existing power station assets and provide technical support. As a member of the operations and maintenance team, you will be involved in the commissioning of new power stations.
Since the sites operate 24/7, there may be occasions when after-hours attendance is required. Compensation for these additional hours will be included in the salary.
What You Will Be Doing
- Planned and unplanned maintenance, fault finding/troubleshooting, and analysis of power generation equipment and associated ancillary equipment.
- Training staff in the day-to-day operations of power generation equipment and associated ancillary equipment.
- Maintenance planning and procurement of required equipment.
- New site mobilisation and operational readiness support and evaluations.
- You are expected to commit to Zenith Energy’s HSE and environmental policies and actively ensure an incident-free workplace.
- Relief operating when staff are sick or on leave, or as instructed.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years post-trade work experience within the power generation industry.
- Proven technical knowledge.
- PLC and COMP experience is highly desirable.
- Jenbacher Engine experience
Skills
- Proficient use of MS Excel, Word, and Project skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent typing skills
Required Qualifications/Certificates/Licenses
- Electrical Trade Qualifications
- OHS Construction Induction (White Card)
- Valid WA Electrical License.
- Valid WA motor vehicle driver’s license, minimum C class (not restricted to automatic vehicle)
Desirable
- Formal PLC training.
- High Voltage Switching certificate.
- Supervised Gas Fitters Ticket.
- First Aid training.
- EWP license.
- Forklift license.
