About the role
As our next Systems Support Analyst, you will be required to support, maintain and improve the infoMINE production and maintenance system to meet business requirements and enable projects to make operational decisions. This is achieved by providing end-user support and training, conducting analysis and testing, and ensuring consistent application of the system and related processes across the business unit.
In this role, you will:
- Troubleshoot and investigate system issues as well as process issues to identify root cause
- Communicate system issues and updates with key users
- Deliver system training to all levels of the business
- Develop, maintain and review documentation including procedures and user training material
- Develop and update standard training documentation, e-learning modules and other resources to meet the needs of the business
- Collaborate with ICT Program Managers and Developers to manage new system deployments
- Identify system improvements through auditing, training and system support processes and make recommendations on possible solutions or enhancements
- Participate in or lead new application deployments or major system enhancement projects in accordance with project management methodology
- Be willing to travel as required
About you
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field
- Experience providing user system support and systems analysis
- Experience working in an environment that supports and develops corporate worldwide systems
- Preferred experience in mining or equipment maintenance industry
- High level of communication skills, with ability to work with technical and non-technical staff
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of business processes
- Demonstrated success in delivery of business improvement initiatives
- Basic knowledge of database and SQL queries
- Working/intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Sharepoint, Power BI, etc.
- Good understanding of Project and Change Management methodology
