The Work Take On Coordinator’s mission is to assess and manage non-standard tasks ensuring that the Quote Response Time performance targets are consistently achieved across the service towers within the contract and will work closely with the Work Take On Specialists to meet business and team objectives.
The Work Take On Coordinator will have regular contact with various stakeholders and members of the Australian Defence Force from all ranks, with a focus also on supporting the immediate Work Take on Team. They must maintain effective interpersonal relationships and nurture interactions with other contracted service providers. The Work Take On Coordinator will be focused upon achieving excellent outcomes for the Department of Defence and Telstra and have the customer at the centre of all decisions.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessment of non-standard service requests and categorisation;
- Triage requests that are submitted which will be of a technical ICT nature;
- Liaise with the customer in relation to technical requests;
- Ability to understand the Defence Terrestrial Communications Network environment;
- Action, co-ordinate, liaise and manage non-standard requests via the service management ticketing system DSMS queue;
- Establish and run the triage sessions;
- Interact with customer representatives to collect data necessary to successfully complete non-standard service request;
- Management of customer endorsements and quote acceptance;
- Engagement with all external stakeholders in order for a smooth delivery of the services;
- Management of all relevant documents and data utilising applicable systems
- Coordinate acceptance activities for delivered works;
- Work within a defined set of relevant procedures, standards and practices;
To be successful in the role, you’ll need to demonstrate:
- Exceptional problem solving skills, customer focus and demonstrated abilities in the areas of problem solving, issue management, negotiation and presentation.
- Experience working in a coordination role requiring high levels of organisation.
- Ability to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, resulting in the provision of quality documentation and a professionally presented persona.
- Able to confidently work with stakeholders internal and external at all levels of the organisation and to direct highly technical resources.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Sharepoint, Maxim, Microsoft Office and Unified Communications technology.
Candidates must be Australian Citizens and have current Baseline clearance minimum to be considered. This role will require you to hold and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance.
