We have recently been named as the preferred proponent for Western Australia’s $1.6 billion Railcar Program. As part of the project we will design, manufacture and maintain 246 new railcars needed for METRONET projects and the replacement of the A-series trains. We will also deliver 6 DMU railcars to replace the five diesel railcars that operate the twice daily Australind service between Perth and Bunbury.
The Railcar Program has been identified as a Strategic Project under the WA Jobs Act 2017, which has additional requirements for local job creation. With a target of 50 per cent local content for the manufacturing of the new trains, this project will bolster our local manufacturing industry and maximise WA jobs.
We are currently looking for a Integrated Services Readiness (ISR) Manager who will primarily be responsible to ensure that the design of the Rolling Stock will be able to be maintained, ensuring that all training, maintenance and driver documentation are prepared to the clients expectations and requirements and lead the preparation for the maintenance site and consult on requirements to meet maintenance requirements and standards
Responsibilities in this Role Include:
- Development and implementation of the ISR management plan
- The production of the ISR Elements.
- The planning, cost and quality of the ISR Elements accordingly to the ISR management Plan
- Manage delivery of ISR elements throughout the project phase with respect of ISR management Plan and Quality Cost Delivery (QCD).
- Manage ISR team involved in the design of ISR elements.
- Manage coordination with other functions for the design of ISR elements.
- Manage coordination with central Function to ensure integration and compliancy with standard and best practice (REF LIB/ DFS/M&T)
Generic
- Promote usage of standard ISR practice compliant with international standard or Alstom central procedure and Method & Tool
- Capitalize data to improve QCD on future project
- Coordinate production of Return on Experience (REX) report upon completion of ISR Work Package execution with focus on applicable ISR Ref Lib update, identified needs for process improvements and possible proposals for best practices .
- Produce ISR WP KPI dashboard in line with Central/Service Platform guidelines
Performance measurements:
- Quality of ISR deliverable during tender and project phase.
- Control of QCD target
- Customer satisfaction.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
- Engineering University Degree or equivalent.
- Master ISR specialization and 5 years experience in ISR Engineering
- Experience in maintenance execution.
- Knowledge of the main ILS Elements applicable to Railroad equipment (RAMS, LSA, LCC, Technical Publishing, Training)
