THE ROLE

The role of SAP Finance Subject Matter Expert will take responsibility for providing SAP S4 HANA Finance expertise to support the Stream Lead and Domain Specialists, as well as senior stakeholders in key decisions for system design and operation as well as target state ways of working. The role will act as a translator of Origin business needs to SAP capability in order to ensure we are leveraging the available capability within the SAP S4 HANA suite as much as possible before considering off-system or manual options. To be successful, you will:

• Provide detailed subject matter expertise for SAP S4 HANA Finance module to enable Origin stakeholders to make better-quality decisions on key design and ways of working definition.
• Identify and proactively promote opportunities to leverage standard SAP S4 HANA Finance capability to facilitate further process optimization and transformation
• Work alongside the implementation partner consultants during build and test to ensure the solution meets expectations and is leveraging all available capability
• Work collaboratively with other program workstreams to ensure a successful integrated solution is delivered
• Participate in all testing activities for the program including user acceptance testing, system integration testing and any parallel run testing that may be required.
• Support the business process documentation team to ensure the end-to-end business processes for the appropriate stream are clearly and accurately constructed in Promapp.

IS THIS YOU?

To be considered for this pivotal position you will have:

• Demonstrated detailed expertise working with the SAP S4 HANA solution as a customer/consumer.
• Degree or CPA qualified as financial accountant or demonstrable experience in the financial accounting field.
• Ability to recognise and act upon optimisation opportunities
• Ability to advise and discuss ideas with project team and stakeholders with confidence, conviction and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal skill, ability to collaborate and drive outcomes
• Strong analytic capability and business acume
• Demonstrated experience working on successful large-scale business transformation projects or programs.
• SAP S4 HANA Finance training completions / certifications
