EPMO manages the Business Program Office for Consumer where the key functions include Business program support and quality assurance, Portfolio planning and management, BPO Operations and Delivery standards, processes, practices and tools.
The Senior BA will be accountable for driving strong leadership and a high level of engagement within their BA team & Core Teams. This role will take accountability for the effectiveness and quality of customer experience, brand and User experience frameworks with programs, business requirements gathering, management and verification work within a program.
Key activities/deliverables are scope definition, detailed business requirements, managing change requirements, assessing alternative solutions, defining customer experience impacts, testing and business continuity planning.
Key Requirements for this role:
- Providing leadership to capture and prioritise weighted high level business objectives,
- Capturing End to End Business requirements: workshopping collaboratively to define user stories and use cases and/or business requirements, and testing these requirements with end user focus
- E2E Senior BA position description groups – either internal or external; and recommending direction to the business based on the cost/benefits trade-offs as this is done.
- Performing Requirements traceability through mapping of business requirements to user stories, monitoring the evolving solution design and clarifying or asserting the Business need to be fulfilled in the solution with internal or external parties
- Manage change to requirements within programs; ensuring impact analysis is complete by other program members.
- Analyse and review alternate solutions and provide input to Business areas on the most appropriate solution.
- Ensuring affected Business areas understand the solution and that their operation can support the project Business case.
- Guiding the customer towards accepting viable and valid solutions and ensuring final solution supports the stated Business benefits, both functionally and unguided user acceptance testing via user focus groups.
- Support E2E Testing; Test Strategy; support functional and usability test case development and incident impact analysis.
- Verify requirements through user test case development, and incident impact analysis and seek approval of user acceptance testing within user focus groups
- Disaster Recovery Deliverables: Review, Update and/or develop Business Continuity deliverables as part of the program
- Assure application of relevant standards (regulatory, legislative, internal and operational); and that these standards are reflected in their requirements deliverables on the programs they are working on
Qualifications/Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or business related discipline or relevant IT/Business experience
- Strong Leadership experience
- Well-developed understanding of general business processes and systems
- Strong understanding of financial modelling and/or budget management
- Ability to produce clear and concise written material
- Demonstrated production of complex documents Behavioural
