We are currently looking for an experienced engineering or construction professional to join our division based out of our Ingleburn office. You will be accountable for supporting projects and tenders with technical expertise in the civil/construction industry. Drive best practise approach in identifying, completing design briefs for the design engineers and provide commercial proposals to position Coates Engineering Solutions as a market leader in the delivery of building, and infrastructure projects.
Your key tasks will include (but not limited to):
- Lead and promote Coates Hire’s Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture.
- Support greater sales teams within the region and target revenue opportunities within current and potential customers.
- Support the sales teams and ensure excellent communication exists with relationships between end-users and internal stakeholders.
- Key account management of existing business ensuring acquisition of new projects
- Assisting in co-ordinating Industry shows and product launches and product / service training
- Setup consultant presentations and support with technical data and other requested information
To be successful, you’ll have the following:
- Bachelors degree in civil/structural engineering or construction management from an institute recognised by Engineers Australia
- A minimum of 5 years industry experience related to either civil/construction sales, design or project sites.
- Knowledge of commonly used proprietary systems
- Diverse understanding of varied construction methodologies and techniques on civil and building projects
- Current drivers licence
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Capability to work hands-on to solve problems, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
