CSTF is an important component of GTRF’s business proposition in ASP. CSTF teams are to be based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Australia, India and Indonesia. CSTF is responsible for originating, structuring and implementing vanilla trade products, structured trade finance, and transactional finance to commodity customers for both Global Banking and Commercial Banking customer groups.
The position will be based in NSW and encompass the below activities:
- Originating, structuring and implementing sophisticated trade finance solutions, including transactional finance and vanilla trade products;
- Managing a portfolio of clients in partnership with the relationship owning RMs of the global businesses.
- Structuring and leading structured trade deals with national responsibility
To align with GB/CMB and Risk to ensure targets, business propositions/solutions meet relevant Group, Sector and Credit imperatives.
The jobholder will support the activity in Australia and the ASP region by identifying key customers and targets, following up pipeline and results.
- Assist in developing a global coverage for designated priority global customers.
- Support other ASP Group offices in marketing customers, identifying business opportunities and structuring CSTF transactions
- Promote cross-regional referrals and cross regional transactions, promote team work and sharing best practice
- Participate in working groups/strategic business development projects where required
- Develop and follow-up sales pipeline, priority customers and business at risk.
- Generating significant CSTF flow and revenue with CSTF targets.
- Working in close coordination with key GTRF sites.
- Aligning with coverage to optimize opportunities.
- Maintain growth in the Structured Trade Finance portfolio.
- Championing a new approach internally, getting all internal approvals required and ensuring operational feasibility, in cooperation with the Product team.
